undergraduate college admissions…..

Once again a big thank you to you and all you have done for our children. Our second college bound daughter will attending SCAD, Savannah College of Art and Design in the fall. She did get accepted everywhere she applied! She was accepted to the University of Texas at Austin, Texas State University, North Texas, Chicago Art Institute, and California Arts in San Francisco. All of the private schools offered her academic and portfolio based scholarships. SCAD was the most generous and she really loved the school when we visited. Thanks again for your wonderful guidance!

preparation for testing……

Thank you for helping me prepare for my teacher certification tests in elementary education and special education. You are the best! Thanks to your guidance I am now enrolled in a masters program and will soon become a reading specialist! You have been a great mentor and friend.

ADHD coaching…..

I want to thank you for your support and daily contact with me throughout my first semester in college. You pointed me in the right direction for help when I needed it and gave me some incredibly valuable advice on the social scene and for my classes. I am proud to say that I ended the semester with a 3.8 and I could not have done that well without your encouragement and common sense approach. The best part is that I have developed a whole new level of independence and my parents have not had to “hover” over me as they did in high school. Our relationship has improved and it feels great to listen to them brag about me!

I knew I had to come back to you when I decided to go to graduate school. Thank you so much for all the information and guidance. I have been accepted into graduate school at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. Go Tarheels!

student tutorials.....

I also am truly appreciative of the great influence you have been on both of my own children. If ever there was an example of two different learners ... however, you have taught both of them according to their specific needs.  The part of you that you share with them weekly will become a part of the adult they will be.  You will always be a little part of who they become!  I am very proud of that.  Thank you for the support and enthusiasm you always show them.  Please know that in the our household you are loved and appreciated!

504 meetings....

It’s our family who says “thank you” to YOU for everything you’ve done for us---from tutoring our son,  to attending 504 meetings with me, to advising us on the seemingly never-ending “hoops” we must jump through.  You are always so positive and optimistic—something we need more of.  But, your true talent is in building a relationship  with the students. Your ability to motivate them is the key to their success.  I know in our case, it would be a waste of money if we had to overcome a bad attitude to get our son to tutoring---that’s never been the case and that says a lot about YOU!!  You are a true gift to this community.
